What We Believe

God:

There is one God (Deuteronomy 6:4; Ephesians 4:5-6).

God is a spirit (John 4:24).

Jesus Christ is the Spirit of God manifest in flesh, He is both God and man. (Colossians 2:9; 1 Timothy 3:16)

Scripture:

The Bible is inspired of God, infallible, and the supreme authority for salvation and Christian living. (2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:20-21)

Sin and Salvation:

All have sinned and are in need of salvation (Romans 3:23). We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8). Biblical faith will lead all believers to the born again experience (John 3:3-7).

The Gospel:

The saving gospel is the good news that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. We obey the gospel (2 Thessalonians 1:8; 1 Peter 4:17) by repentance (death to sin), water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ (burial), and the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial sign of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance (resurrection). (1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Acts 2:4, 37-39; Romans 6:3-4.)

Christian Life:

As Christians, we are to love God and others. We should live a life of holiness both inwardly and outwardly. We should worship God joyfully. The supernatural gifts of the Spirit, including healing, prophecy, and miracles are for the church today. (Mark 12:28-31; 2 Corinthians 7:1; Hebrews 12:14; 1 Corinthians 12:8-10.)
